Fitness Trials for Monday August 11, 2008
Back again and it’s time to see how I did this week.
So how exactly did I do this week? Watch the video to find out.
So down almost a full pound, and within a pound of my weight goal. My push ups are extremely difficult, I feel like I’ve hit a plateau, but I just have to toughen through them and hope that I get over this plateau soon. My crunches came easier than I expected this week. And week 2 of the running is definitely harder than week 1 was. But everything is coming together nicely to help me get into better shape than I have been in years.
Fitness Goals for week of August 11, 2008:
- 100 Push Up Challenge
- Couch to 5K
- 25 Burpees (new exercise, video below if you don’t know what a burpee is)
- 30 Split Squats with rotation with medicine ball (15 per side)(video below)
- 20 Medicine Ball Windshield wipers (See Video)
- 20 Medicine Ball Leg Lifts (See Video)
- 20 Medicine Ball Twists (See Video)
- 20 Medicine Ball V-ups
- Cigarettes – No more than 2 a day
- Weight loss – Any is good, and I would love to hit my target weight of 185.0
So there you have it, I’m including a few new exercises in my fitness trials for this week, so that means that I will have to push my workouts a bit more for my core and abs. Which is a good thing, because I have not seen the type of progress over the last few weeks I would like to.
